Even if you are given hoodia patches or capsules from an enthusiastic friend who says that the product helped her lose five pounds in a week, there is no guarantee that it would work just as well on you. To stay safe, have your doctor check the contents of any hoodia product. This way, you decrease the risk of experiencing side effects as well as falling prey to the items that contain little or no hoodia extract.
