2. Buy pre-cuts fresh vegetables and fruits. You may think that buying pre-cuts fresh vegetables and fruits is a sign of laziness. Not exactly. Studies have shown that people who buy whole fruits and vegetables and store them in the refrigerator, it becomes rotten because it has not been used. But those who buy pre-cuts fruits and veggies are able to eat them and they tend to eat more.
3. Hara hachi bu. This is the main secret of Japanese people why they are slimmer than other people. Hara hachi bu means that you will eat only until you are about 80% full. You don’t have to starve yourself. You basically have to eat until you are satisfied. You just avoid making yourself stuffed and full. When you are always eating a lot, this will make your stomach to expand thus, causing your body to become lethargic.
4. Cut the junk. If you are very fond of eating junk foods then it is time that you cut the junk out of your eating habits. Junk foods are rich in calories which will make you gain more weight. If you avoid eating junk foods, you will save yourself from having too much excess calories and it will be far easier for you to lose weight.
5. Avoid alcoholic beverages. Alcohols are proven to be very fattening and it also damages and destroys certain part of your body. It will also make your belly grow bigger. So avoid drinking alcoholic beverages in order to keep yourself free from too much calories.
6. Say no to salt. Your health is in greater risk if you have too much salt intake. You have to cut down your salt intake because salt can dry out certain organs in your body and it can also affect your body’s blood pressure. Lowering your consumption of salt will prevent you from having a permanent weight gain.
7. Water to keep you hydrated. Our body is mostly composed of water that is why it is very important to keep yourself hydrated. You can one glass of water the moment you wake up so that you will tend to eat less for breakfast. Also, since you just underwent an 8-hour sleep, your body lacks enough water to make its system function better. So drink lots of water in order to make your body systems keep on functioning properly.
